The L‐S Scholarship Foundation (Dollars for Scholars organization) will host a 3 point shooting contest Monday, February 8, during the halftime of the varsity boys’ game. The L‐S Scholarship Foundation provides scholarship grants to L‐S seniors attending post‐high school education. Representatives from the junior high (Macy Lanser and Daniel Zimmerman), JV (McKenzi Ritter and Chris DeJong), and varsity squads (Tara Van Rees) will compete for the title of “top shooter.” Each person will have 30 seconds to make as many 3 point goals as possible. The shooter making the highest number of goals will receive a L‐S Rim Table made by Goalsetter Systems.

Pledge jars are available at the F&M Bank (Sully) and the First State Bank (Sully & Lynnville). Persons can submit a pledge form that can commit a dollar amount per made 3 point basket or a lump sum amount for the shooter whom they think will make the most baskets. A name will be drawn from the winning shooter’s jar and will be awarded $100 of product from the L‐S Hawk Shop. All pledge money collected will be distributed as scholarship grants to the 2010 Lynnville‐Sully college‐bound graduates.
