The Sully Community Church began in 1923 when buildings from a Methodist Protestant Church and Congregational Church were united to form the church's original meeting place on 4th Street. In 2007 the church completed a multi-phase project which culminated in a facility designed to meet ministry needs of all ages. Sully Community Church is a non-denominational church associated with the IFCA International, a fellowship committed to Biblical Ministry. Dedicated to bringing the gospel message around the world, the church supports about 40 missionary families and organizations each year. Along with Morning and Evening Sunday Worship services, Sunday School, Mid-week Prayer meeting, Bible studies and Awana Youth Programs are held weekly. Pastor Jerry Morningstar began serving the congregation of 90 families in 2001. The Sully Community Church is located at 12559 South 92nd Ave. E. between the Sully Airfield and Sully Christian School.
