A Christmas Tour of Homes "It's Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas!" will be held from 10 a.m.-7 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 1, 2012. The Sully First Reformed Church is presenting five homes decorated for Christmas. Tickets are for sale at $10 per person ($12 the day of the tour).

The homes on the tour are: 

  • Tim & Nicole Dunsbergen, 702 N. 2nd St., Sully
  • Earl & Marcia Rozendaal, 15145 S. 64th Ave. E., Grinnell
  • John & Dawn Terpstra, 14410 S. 72nd Ave. E., Lynnville
  • Marlin & Laureen Van Wyk, 13288 Hwy. F-62 E., Sully
  • Doyle & Karna Ver Ploeg, 6705 Hwy. T-38 S., Lynnville

Refreshments will be served at the Sully First Reformed Church basement where there will be a b ake sale and various decorative Christmas items for sale along with a silent auction for a quilted Christmas wallhanging. Everyone is invited to attend and get ibnto the Christmas spirit!

The $10 tickets are available at the church office, The Sanctuary in Pella, Hometown Press in Sully, Van Der Zyl Agency in Sully, First State Bank in Lynnville and Sully, Great Western Bank in Sully, Choices in Newton, and Stepping Stones in Grinnell.

Proceeds will benefit the church building fund. The Lynnville-Sully Music and Drama Boosters are sponsoring various other events in Sully Dec. 1 also, including a lighted Christmas parade, a soup supper, live window displays, and more.
