If you drive on Iowa 224 or Jasper County Road T-22 near Kellogg you need to be aware of upcoming road closures that may impact your trip.
Iowa 224 and Jasper County Road T-22 will be closed for Interstate 80 bridge repairs, beginning Sept. 19, 2024 at 7 a.m., according to the Marshalltown construction office.
The closures will reopen on Oct 1, 2024 at 7 a.m., weather permitting. While the roadway is closed, you will follow a marked detour route around the work zone using I-80.
Help keep everyone on the road safer. Drive with caution, obey the posted speed limit and other signs in the work area, and be aware that traffic fines for moving violations are at least double in work zones. As in all work zones, you should stay alert, allow ample space between vehicles, and wear seat belts.
