Churches in Sully

Sully hosts three churches ready to meet your family’s needs in the areas of spiritual growth, corporate worship, and fellowship with others. The Sully Christian Reformed Church, the Sully First Reformed Church, and the Sully Community Church, all mid-sized, fully staffed churches, are located within close proximity of the town square. Each congregation offers Sunday and mid-week services as well as weekly Bible study groups, classes for children, youth group activities, and missions work opportunities.  Whether your family is comfortable with a conservative Christian Reformed service or a non-denomenational fundamentalist service, one of the beautifully situated Sully churches is sure to provide you and your family with the spiritual care and support to help you flourish.

Christian Reformed Church

Sully Christian Reformed ChurchThe Sully Christian Reformed Church is committed to serving the whole family on their Christian journey. Sunday worship begins at 9:30 a.m. followed by Sunday school. Sunday evening service begins at 5 p.m. CST (6 p.m. during Daylight Saving Time) with additional classes for girls and boys being offered on Wednesdays through the GEMS, Cadets, and 412 Youth Programs. The Sully Christian Reformed Church is founded on the infallible Word of God and believes in the full authority of the 66 books of the Old and New Testament Bible. Community Church

The Sully Community Church began in 1923 when buildings from a Methodist Protestant Church and Congregational Sully Community Churchwere united to form the church’s original meeting place on 4th Street. In 2007, the church completed a multi-phase project, which culminated in a facility designed to meet ministry needs of all ages. Sully Community Church is a  non-denominational church associated with the IFCA International, a fellowship committed to Biblical Ministry. Dedicated to bringing the gospel message around the world, the church supports about 40 missionary families and organizations each year.  Along with morning and evening Sunday worship services, Sunday school, mid-week prayer meeting, Bible studies, and Awana Youth Programs are held weekly. Pastor Jerry Morningstar began serving the congregation of 90 families in 2001.  The Sully Community Church is located at 12559 South 92nd Avenue East between the Sully Airfield and Sully Christian School. First Reformed Church
