Due to all the heavy rain we have received the city sewer system is being overloaded and flooding is occurring at the wastewater plant. We are asking residents to limit water use as much as possible for activities such as doing laundry, running dishwashers, bath/shower, flushing toilets, etc. Please DO NOT run or empty sump pumps into the sanitary sewer. We appreciate your help while we deal with this issue.
