I scream, you scream, we allllll scream for ICE CREAM!! When that craving hits for a good scoop of yummy ice cream, make your way to Deep Rock Ice Cream Shoppe on the square in Sully. Through the years, the corner ice cream shop has been run by a few different families – keeping the historic little building in Sully alive.
Current operators are Sully residents, Jeremy and Desiree Blom, along with their two boys, who took over at the end of 2023, making 2024 their first year in business. They try to start scooping ice cream in the spring and scoop until the end of October. They usually have around 16 different flavors available, so with all those options, they’re sure to please your tastebuds. You can keep it simple with a scoop or two in a dish or add a tasty waffle or regular cone for a special treat.
“I’ve always wanted to own an ice cream shop since I was little, so when the opportunity came about, we jumped on it,” Desiree said. “We are always open to ideas, comments, and suggestions so please share your thoughts with us.”
Hours vary due to a busy full time work schedule and kids’ schedules, but they try to be open from 6-8 most nights – checking their Facebook page for updates is recommended.
