Inspirations Childcare and Preschool center is a faith-based center in Sully that offers early childhood education in a supportive environment guided by specific religious principles and values. “Our goal as a daycare is to provide a safe and loving environment and to inspire the children, while incorporating the word of God into our curriculum,” said Director Courtney Stoddard.
Inspirations employees nine full-time staff members, three part-time, and five high school students that come into work in the mornings before school and after school until the center closes. Children ranging from babies as young as 6 weeks up to age 11 keep the employees busy.
Staff enjoy taking the children on field trips that have included the Blank Park Zoo, and the Jasper County Fair, and they’ve also visited lots of businesses around Sully. Parks are a fun outing for the kids and they are often able to enjoy the city park in Sully when the weather allows, and they love the library events and try to attend whatever special activity that the library has planned.
The staff works hard doing fundraisers, so they can take the children on those fun outings, and they appreciate the support from the community. Laundry soap fundraisers, Pizza Ranch give back nights, and meal fundraisers are just a few of the things they have done, and they have something planned for February, so watch for details from them on that.
Inspirations has a board that manages the operations of the center that includes six members, three of which are parents of children who attend the daycare and three are community members. Their dedication is what makes the daycare a special place where parents know their children are safe and being well cared for daily.
