NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
BALLFIELD PARK IMPROVEMENTS
SULLY, IOWA

The City Council of Sully, Iowa will hold a public hearing on the proposed contract documents (plans, specifications and form of contract) and estimated cost for “Ballfield Park Improvements” and as described in detail in the Plans and Specifications for said project now on file in the office of the City Clerk.
The public hearing will be held at 7:00 P.M. on April 10, 2023, in accordance with the provisions of Chapter 384, Code of Iowa. The City of Sully reserves the right to reject any and all bids. At said hearing any interested person may appear and file objections thereto or to the cost of the improvements. At the hearing, the City will receive and consider any objections made by any interested party, to the Plans and Specifications, proposed contract, and the estimate of cost for the project.
The work to be done is generally located North of S 92nd Avenue E and East of 10th Avenue in Sully, Iowa and is as follows:
Excavation, Class 10 – 560 CY; Subgrade Preparation (6″ Thick) – 1,655 SY; Compaction Testing – Lump Sum; Trench Compaction Testing – Lump Sum; Storm Sewer, Trenched, HPDE, 8″ – 520 LF; Storm Sewer, Trenched, HPDE, 10″ – 56 LF; Intake, Nyloplast, 24″ diameter – 3 EA; Connection to Existing Intake – 1 EA; PCC Pavement Samples and Testing – Lump Sum; Shared Use Path, PCC, 5″ thick – 1,255 SY; Pavement Removal – 1,352 SY; Hydraulic Seeding, Seeding, Fertilizing, and Mulching – Lump Sum; SWPPP Preparation – Lump Sum; SWPPP Management – Lump Sum; Silt Fence – 600 LF; Silt Fence, Removal of Device – 600 LF; Demolition Work – Lump Sum; and Mobilization – Lump Sum.
